For maximum softness, heat this Alloy steel grade 91 up to 1500 Degree F / 1650 Degree F (815 Degree C / 900 Degree C) along with slow furnace cool. Temper this Alloy Steel P91 Forged Threaded Cap Fittings at temperatures appropriate to produce desired mechanical properties.
